1 Who We Are
SleepTight is developed and operated by ETLabs, a division of Traverse Engineering LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a Limited Liability Company incorporated in the state of South Carolina and in Good Standing since July 11, 2019.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the SleepTight iOS application (the "App"). If you have questions about this policy, contact us at travis@traverseengineering.com.
2 Our Core Commitment
✅ Your Data Stays on Your Device
SleepTight does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any external server. All sleep sessions, mood logs, nap records, and notes are stored exclusively in local storage on your iPhone using Apple's Core Data and UserDefaults frameworks.
We have no account system, no login, and no cloud sync. We never see your data.
3 What Data the App Stores
The following information is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

4 Notifications
SleepTight requests permission to send local notifications to function as your alarm. These notifications are:
- Scheduled entirely on your device using Apple's UNUserNotificationCenter
- Never sent through an external server — no data leaves your device
- Only triggered at the wake time or nap end time you personally set
- Removable at any time via iPhone Settings → Notifications → SleepTight
We do not use push notifications. No data leaves your device when an alarm fires.
5 Third-Party Services
🔒 No Third-Party SDKs or Tracking
SleepTight does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services. We do not use Firebase, Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or any similar tools. Your usage of the App is entirely private.
The only external service involved in delivering the App is Apple's App Store, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
6 Apple HealthKit (Planned Feature)
HealthKit Integration
A future version of SleepTight plans to integrate with Apple HealthKit to read and write sleep analysis data. When this feature ships, this policy will be updated and you will be asked for explicit permission before any HealthKit access occurs.
When HealthKit is enabled:
- We will only request access to Sleep Analysis data
- HealthKit data will never be shared with or sold to third parties
- HealthKit data will never be used for advertising purposes
- You can revoke access at any time via iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health
- HealthKit data will only be used to display your sleep history within the App
HealthKit access is not active in the current version of SleepTight.
7 Apple Watch (Planned Feature)
watchOS Companion App
A future version of SleepTight plans to offer an Apple Watch companion app. This policy will be updated to reflect any new data handling when that feature becomes available.
- Watch sensor data will only be used to improve sleep tracking accuracy within the App
- No Watch data will be transmitted off your personal devices
- Watch data will not be shared with or sold to any third party
- All sync between iPhone and Apple Watch will occur locally over your personal device connection
Apple Watch support is not active in the current version of SleepTight.
8 Children's Privacy
SleepTight is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, please contact us at travis@traverseengineering.com and we will take appropriate steps.
9 Deleting Your Data
Because all data is stored on your device, you are always in full control:
- In-app reset: Go to Profile → Data → "Reset All Sleep Data" to permanently delete all sleep sessions
- Full removal: Deleting SleepTight from your iPhone permanently removes all associated local data
Since we hold no data on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.
10 Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as GDPR (European Union), CCPA (California), or similar legislation. Because SleepTight does not collect or process your personal data on any server, the vast majority of these rights are automatically satisfied — your data never leaves your device.

11 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as new features such as HealthKit and Apple Watch support are introduced. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you within the App where appropriate.
Continued use of SleepTight after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
